  1. Prepare 5 of Capsicum cut into slices.

  2. Prepare 1 of Onion chpped.

MIRCHI  KA  SALAN step by step

  1. Dry roast coriander seeds, 2 dry red chilli, poppy seeds, seasame seeds, coconut. Cool it and keep aside. Heat oil in kadai. Add curry leaves and mustard seeds. Fry for few minutes., Add chopped onion fry till it become light brown in colour. Then add capsicum cut into slices. Saute it fore few minutes..

  2. Add salt. So that the capsicum cook fast. Add chopped tomato and Asafoetida / hing and fry for few minutes..

  3. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and the grind masala. Mix well and cook for 3 minutes..

  4. Add water as needed. Cook till it becomes gravy. Once it is done.

  5. Transfer to a serving dish and serve immediately with hot…rice and dal…..

For one, it's really not as spicy as you Mirch ka Salan literally translates from urdu, the language the nizams spoke, to a curry of chili peppers.
