Today I decided to tackle making moi moi on my own.

First I poured some Emma's peeled, ground black eyed beans powder into a Hello Hauwa.

Moi Moi and Fried Turkey step by step

  1. Wash Turkey and marinate with garlic, ginger, blended onions, grouned dry pepper, seasoning and salt for one hour.

  2. While you wait for Turkey to be properly marinated, Soak beans in water for five minutes. Wash of the skin chaff of the beans and set aside.

  3. Blend beans with fresh pepper, tomatoes, one medium-sized onions, crayfish with one cup of water until smooth..

  4. Wash smoked fish thoroughly and ensure all the bones are taken out. Boil water and set aside.

  5. Add one cooking spoon vegetable oil to blended beans. Add cleaned smoked fish and stir. While stirring add boiled water until very smooth. Be careful not to put too much water so mix is lightly thick..

  6. Add seasoning and salt to taste. Then wrap mix in green leaves. Set 1 cup of warm water in a pot with some news paper to protect wrapped moimoi. Allow to cook to taste..

  7. Boil Turkey until properly cooked. Then deep fry it..

  8. Serve your moimoi and Turkey..

I tried the moi moi I made and not too bad.

I think I should have added a bit more water to the mix.

Other than that, it's pretty good.
