Ingredients of Kara dosa

  3. You need 1 of onion finely chopped.

  4. Prepare 6 of curry leaves.

  5. Prepare 1/2 tablespoon of mustard seeds.

  6. It’s 1/2 tablespoon of urad dhal.

  7. It’s 1/2 tablespoon of turmeric powder.

  8. It’s 1 tablespoon of chilli powder.

  9. Prepare 2 tablespoon of coriander powder.

  10. It’s 1/2 tablespoon of jeera powder.

  11. Prepare 2 tablespoon of Cooking oil.

  12. You need leaves of Coriander.

  13. You need of Pancake.

  14. Prepare of Dosa batter.

This karam dosa looks similar to adai / mixed dal dosa but its different in ingredients and taste.

So this dosa cannot be prepared instantly like adai.

Again fold the two sides to make a triangular shaped dosa.

You can fold into two simply as well.

Kara dosa instructions

  1. Take a preheated pan with oil and add mustard seeds urad dhal and Curry leaves. After it sprinkles add finely chopped onions and saute till it becomes translucent. Add tomato puree to it and saute well..

  2. Add coriander powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder, jeera powder, salt to taste and saute it well. And some water and allow it to cook in low flame till the oil is out..

  3. Add coriander leaves after it is cooked. Take a pan and apply the Dosa batter. Add the paste on to it. Cook well on sides..

Kara dosai is ready to serve now.
