Take your pan, put oil and heat when hot add onions cook till they soften.

Add potatoes and cook it well. Make sure your pot is not sticky. Cover for s few minutes.

Add rice and mix until well incorporated..

Add warm water ther ratio of 1:2 let it cook on medium heat..

Cover the pot and let it cook until dry. Reduce the heat and let it dry completely..

When ready serve with either kachumbari or pilipili ya kukaanga..
