Though the idea is not entirely new, but I sure have seen lots of hurricane Swiss roll off late.

The cake is made with basic vanilla Swiss roll cake and then I colored a bit of the batter with charcoal for the grayish-black color.

  1. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, beat heavy whipping cream with powdered sugar & vanilla until stiff peaks form. Remove whipped cream into a separate bowl. Chill it..

  12. Chill in the refrigerator for a few hours before slicing..
