Kale Chane Ke Kebab is a delicious appetiser or snack made using the legume "Kala Chana" or "Black Chickpeas".
It is a gluten free kebab recipe which is not only flavoursome but quite healthy too.

Ingredients of Kale chane ke kabab

You need 2 cups of soaked black gram(chana).

Prepare to taste of Salt.

Prepare 2-3 of green chilli finely chopped.

You need 1 tsp of grated ginger.

You need 1/2 tsp of homemade garam masala powder.

It’s Pinch of asafoetida.

You need 1 of onion finely chopped.

You need 8-10 of mint leaves finely chopped or you can use parsley.

You need 1 tbsp of spoon coriander leaves chopped.

It’s 1 tsp of Mawa or paneer for moisture.

You need 2 tsp of malai.
If we go back in history, originally the kebabs were made using meat of animals like chicken, lamb and beef etc.
Mix ground kale chane with equal quantity of boiled mashed potato and some minced ginger, garlic & green chillies.
Add red chilli pwdr, coriander pwdr, amchur, garam masala and kali mirch and mix to combine.
Also add a generous measure of dry mint and a squeeze of lemon juice to the kabab mix.

Pressure cook for 2 whistle on medium flame chana along with 1/2 quantity of green chilli,salt,ginger and garam masala with 3/4 cup of water..

Open the lid and if water is excess then cook open till evaporate water completely,now let it cool on room temperature..

Grind it and take out in mixing bowl..

Mix all the leftover ingredients well..

Grease your hand and make kabab and roast on non stick pan add some oil if needed..

Serve hot with any homemade chutney or onion tomato rings..
Make a thick thickened milk batter.
