Khichdi Discs. Serve the piping hot palak dal khichdi with a spoonful of homemade ghee and pair it with roasted papad ( a large, thin, disc-shaped crisp, made from lentil flour) and pickle for a comforting weeknight meal. Perfect meal for the whole family. Khichdi has been my go-to meal of many busy weeknights.
Unlike other Hindi sitcoms, which continuously air throughout the year, Khichdi is one of the earliest shows on Indian.
Khichdi cutlet is a wonderful dish with leftover khichuri.
So crunchy outside and so deliciously chewy inside, this savoury treat made with khichdi, enhanced with onions, chillies, coriander leaves, spices and gram flour, shaped into flattened discs and pan-fried to a crispy brown, is an excellent way to jazz up leftover dal rice!

The Best Of Khichdi & Instant Khichdi is a DVD compilation that contains the Khichdi and Instant Khichdi Hindi drama-comedy series'.
The storyline follows the members of an unconventional Gujarati family, all of whom can't help but squabble over petty issues and complicate matters.
A meal of khichdi and kadhi is normally accompanied with a vegetable curry.
My favourite accompaniment is a simple spinach curry.
There is something about these three dishes…. a match made in heaven!
