Dry fruits stuffed Dahi Gujia step by step

  1. Wash and soak urad dal for 4 hours in enough water..

  2. For stuffing i have taken crumbled paneer,chopped almonds,chopped walnuts,some chocolate raisins and some coriander leaves,mix well.

  3. After that drain the water and wash it again,put it in mixer jar in few batches and make a smooth paste,if needed add 1 or 2 tsp water..

  4. Take it out in a bowl add salt and beat it with your hand for 5 to 7 mins,so that gujiya will become soft and fluffy..

  5. Heat a pan with oil and take a plastic cover upon that keep 1 tbs of batter..in between keep 1 tbs of dry fruits stuffing and turn the cover gently so that it will take gujia shape…

  6. Now slowly leave in to medium hot oil to deep fry them untill becomes nice and golden brown in colour…

  7. Take them out in a paper towel…

  8. Now leave them into lukewarm salted water for 10 to 15 mins untill they become extra soft..after that squeeze the water and keep them aside..

  9. For sweetened dahi i have added 1 tbs sugar and little bit salt..mixed well…

  10. Now for serving take a plate upon that place your prepared gujia and then sweeteend thick curd then sweet chutney, green chutney,black salt,red chilli powder,cumin powder,some boondi,chopped coriander leaves..and enjoy…
