Cheese and ham strata step by step

  1. Preheat oven to 350.

  2. Place cut up/ cubed bread in a greased baking dish..

  3. Top with cooked ham, sauted green pepper and onion..

  4. Sprinkle with cheeses.

  5. In a large bowl, combine soup and milk. Stir in the eggs, mayonnaise, pepper, cayenne, garlic and most of the parsley..

  6. Pour over cheeses.

  7. Bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes, or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean..

  8. Sprinkle with remaining parsley. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving..

  9. Note - Reduced fat or fat free mayonnaise is not recommended for this recipe..
