Macrobiotic Maple Cookies. Our first product, The MacroTreat, was a macrobiotic cookie based on one of my favorite recipes. We soon had a total of six cookies, I tried to use fruit and grains that I grew on the farm, and others that were locally grown when our demand increased. The pastry flour was purchased from Great River Milling, a local supplier.
Mix flour and spices together in a large bowl.
Add to the flour: oil, maple syrup, blackstrap molasses and water.
These maple peanut butter cookies came to fruition after I had one of those maple sea salt RXBARS and slathered it with peanut butter as a post workout snack.

Roll the dough into a 3 cm wide tube, and let rest for 30 minutes..
