Ingredients of Spinach Purée

  1. It’s 3 of big potatoes.

  2. It’s 500 grams of frozen spinach, unthawed.

  3. Prepare 1 of glug good quality olive oil.

  4. It’s 1 of salt.

  5. It’s 1 of ground black pepper.

  6. Prepare 1 of italian seasoning.

  7. Prepare 1 pinch of chili powder.

  1. Peel and dice your potatoes. Put them in a big pot, completely submerged in cold salted water. Bring to a boil. Cook for about 15 minutes.

  2. Then add your frozen spinach to the pot and bring back up to the boil. Cook for about 7 minutes.

  3. Take off heat and drain. Season with salt, pepper, chili powder, a glug of olive oil and italian seasoning. Blend the spinach and potatoes into a creamy purée. Serve warm.

Put the hot spinach into the container of a food processor and add the green onions, garlic, butter, salt and mustard.

Puree spinach in a food processor or blender until smooth.
