Layered Masala Laccha Paratha. Lachha Paratha or Lachedar Paratha is a popular flatbread from North India, made from whole wheat flour. Lacha paratha is a whole wheat layered flat bread. This is a famous North Indian recipe.

Ingredients of Layered Masala Laccha Paratha

You need 250 gms of all purpose flour.

Prepare 100 ml of water.

Prepare to taste of Salt.

You need of Dry Masalas - chat masala, aamchur powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander leaves and carrom seeds.

You need 2 tbsp of Oil for kneading dough and Oil for roasting.

Layered Masala Laccha Paratha instructions

For dough: take flour, add oil, salt to taste, carrom seeds and oil. Add water slowly as needed and make a fine dough (not too hard)..

Now roll the dough ball and make a big round flat bread (roti). On the top side of roti sprinkle all dry Masalas and coriander leaves..

Now fold the roti alternatively (top & bottom) and then once a pipe like design is done further roll it inside like a round ball..

Now make a medium sized paratha and roast it slowly on a medium flame. Do not press the paratha. Once it is roasted nicely and a bit cold. With the help of fork try to separate its layers and serve it with butter on top..
Laccha partha and warqi paratha are prepared similarly.
