  1. In bowl, take gram flour, salt, 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds and dried fenugreek leaves and mix it well..

  3. Meanwhile, heat generous amount of oil in a wok and make badi of it and deep fry them..

  4. In the same bowl in which youve prepared the batter, add water in it which will be required for gravy and mix it properly..

  5. Now pour this gravy in a big vessel and put it on flame and cook it for 25-30 minutes on medium flame..

  6. Now add tamarind pulp in it, mix it well then add fried badi in it and cook it until it starts swelling/rising then switch off the flame..

  7. Now heat 1-2 tablespoon of oil in a tempering pan, add rest cumin seeds, dried red chillies, asafoetida and bay leaves in it and allow it to crackle..

  8. Now add it in your your badi gravy..

  9. Your Besan badi in tamarind gravy is ready to serve now..
