Ingredients of Chicken Stuffed Oats Dosa

  1. Prepare of Dosa - (Makes 5-6 dosas).

  2. You need 1 cup of oats, dry roasted.

  3. You need 1/4 cup of whole moong dal (green gram lentil).

  4. It’s 1/4 cup of whole urad dal (black gram lentil).

  5. You need 1 tbsp. of chana dal.

  6. You need 1/4 tsp. of fenugreek seeds.

  7. You need to taste of salt.

  8. Prepare of Chicken Stuffing -.

  9. Prepare 1 cup of chicken, boiled & shredded.

  10. Prepare 1 tbsp. of oil.

  11. It’s 1/2 tsp. of cumin seeds.

  12. Prepare 1-2 of onion, chopped.

  13. It’s 1 tsp. of ginger-garlic, grated.

  14. It’s to taste of salt.

  15. It’s 1/2 tsp. of turmeric powder.

  16. It’s 1-2 of green chilies, chopped.

  17. It’s 1 sprig of curry leaves.

  18. It’s 1/2 tsp. of red chilli flakes or to taste.

  19. It’s 1 tsp. of sambar powder.

  20. It’s 2-3 tbsp. of coriander leaves, chopped.

  21. It’s of oil to shallow fry the dosa.

  22. You need 1 tsp. of lime juice.

  23. It’s of coconut chutney & sambar to serve.

Chicken Stuffed Oats Dosa instructions

  1. Soak the lentils and fenugreek seeds in sufficient water overnight. Grind with required quantity of water into a smooth paste. Mix with the oats, salt and some water into a batter. Keep aside for an hour. Add some more water if needed..

  2. For the stuffing - Heat 1 tbsp. oil in a pan and temper with cumin seeds. Saute for a few seconds. Add the onion, ginger-garlic, green chilies and curry leaves. Saute till light brown..

  3. Add the boiled chicken add all the dry spices. Stir fry for 1-2 minutes. Switch off the flame. Add the coriander leaves and lime juice. Toss well and keep aside..

  4. Heat a non-stick pan and brush with some oil. Pour a ladleful of the dosa batter and spread it into a circle. Drizzle some oil around the edges..

  5. Cook on a low flame till one side is done, before flipping it over to cook the

other side. Transfer to a plate. Make similar dosas with the remaining batter..

  1. To assemble - Take one dosa and spread some of the chicken stuffing in the

centre, lengthwise. Roll it and slice into half. Serve with sambar and coconut

chutney..
