Easiest Way to Make Yummy Dahi phulki Delicious, fresh and tasty.

Dahi phulki. Dahi Phulki is little different from Dahi Vada which slight change on ingredients. It is prepared from chickpea flour and spices. It is most famous dish for Ramadan as well as in Eid.

Ingredients of Dahi phulki

  1. It’s 1 cup of Dahi.

  2. It’s 1 cup of moong daal skoed in water for 7-8 hours.

  3. It’s As required of Oil.

  4. It’s 1 cup of yoghurt beaten smooth.

  5. You need 1 tbsp of salt.

  6. It’s 1 tbsp of cumin pauder.

  7. Prepare 1/4 tsp of red chilli powder.

  8. It’s 1 tbsp of rock salt.

  9. You need 1/2 cup of coriander leaves chooped.

  10. Prepare 1/4 tsp of black pepper powder.

  11. Prepare 1 tbsp of coriander seeds.

Dahi Phulki is a savory dish made of gram flour dumplings dipped in a spicy yogurt dip.

Dahi Phulki is little different from Dahi Vada, with slight change on ingredients but it tastes as good as Dahi Bhalle.

It is very light & refreshing.

It is prepared very easily as this recipe doesn't involve soaking & grinding of Dal as we do for Dahi Vada.

Dahi phulki step by step

  1. How to make dahi phulki -Drain the water from dhuli moong dal and grind it to a veg fine paste. Take the paste in a wide it to a bowl. Add salt coriander seeds, coriander leaves, whip ingredients in the pan together to a smooth paste. Now heat the 2 big spoon oil and shallow fry small balls or phulki made out of the lentil paste. Turn the flame into medium and let the phulki shallow fry till golden on all sides. This takes about 3-4 mintutes..

  2. Water for about 2-4 min. Continue till all the batter is used up. Prepare dahi : Add salt black salt, cumin powder, red chilli powder and black peper powder to the bowl of curd. Mix theme well and dip the phulki in the curd mixture. Mix the phulki well with the curd and arrange on the serving plate. Garnish. With the rest of the spices and coriander leaves serve chilled..

Dahi Phulki is prepared is two steps.
