Recipe: Tasty Dahi phulki Delicious, fresh and tasty.

Dahi phulki. Dahi Phulki is little different from Dahi Vada which slight change on ingredients. It is prepared from chickpea flour and spices. It is most famous dish for Ramadan as well as in Eid.

You can have Dahi phulki using 21 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you achieve that.

Ingredients of Dahi phulki

  1. Prepare 1 cup of besan.

  2. It’s pinch of hing.

  3. You need 1 tsp of crushed cumin seeds.

  4. Prepare 1 tsp of crushed coriander seeds.

  5. You need 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder.

  6. Prepare 1/2 tsp of garam masala.

  7. It’s 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder.

  8. You need 1/2 tsp of chaat masala.

  9. Prepare to taste of salt.

  10. Prepare 1/4 tsp of soda bicarbonate.

  11. It’s as needed of water.

  12. It’s 1/2 tsp of kasuri methi.

  13. You need as needed of some carrom seeds.

  14. You need 2 bowl of yogurt.

  15. It’s as needed of salt.

  16. Prepare 1/2 tsp of jeera powder.

  17. You need 1/2 tsp of chilli powder.

  18. You need as needed of some coriander leaves.

  19. Prepare as needed of some whole red chilli.

  20. You need 1 tsp of cumin seeds.

  21. You need as needed of few curry leaves.

Dahi Phulki is a savory dish made of gram flour dumplings dipped in a spicy yogurt dip.

Dahi Phulki is little different from Dahi Vada, with slight change on ingredients but it tastes as good as Dahi Bhalle.

It is very light & refreshing.

It is prepared very easily as this recipe doesn't involve soaking & grinding of Dal as we do for Dahi Vada.

Dahi phulki instructions

  1. Take 1 cup of Besan in a bowl. Put cumin seeds crushed,crushed coriander seeds and lil bit of hing.Put red chilli powder,Garam masala,turmeric,chat masala powder.Add salt as per ur taste.Put 1/4 tsp soda bicarb and mix well. Add lil water and make a smooth paste and add lil carrom seeds and kasuri methi. Take some yoghurt whisk with some water and make it thin..

  2. Fry small size pakodas.Put lil salt,Jeera powder and chilli powder add some green coriander to the curd. Transfer fulkis in dahi and let them rest for 5 min..

  3. Make baghar with Jeera,kadi patta and dried red chilli Transfer in serving bowl and put baghar..

  4. Top with some red chilli powder and cumin pwder. Enjoy.

Dahi Phulki is prepared is two steps.

First is the making of the phulki (dumplings) and second is the assembling.
