Basar Koki (Pyaaz ki koki) - Sindhi traditional breakfast

Sindhi koki recipe is a fabulous roti prepared with a dough of whole wheat flour perked up with a large array of flavour enhancers like onions and coriander to cumin seeds and pomegranate seeds.

SINDHI KOKI This is a traditional Sindhi breakfast dish.

You can cook Basar ki koki using 9 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you achieve that.

Ingredients of Basar ki koki

  1. You need 200 gms of aata.

  2. It’s 50 gms of desi ghee for moyan.

  3. Prepare 1 of big onion chopped fine.

  4. It’s 1 of green chilli chopped.

  5. Prepare as needed of Fresh coriander chopped.

  6. You need as needed of Pomegranate seeds(dry) crushed.

  7. You need to taste of Salt.

  8. Prepare as needed of Water to knead the flour.

  9. You need as needed of Ghee for frying.

SANDHYALA BASAR / BASAR JI KHATAIRN / SINDHI ONION PICKLE.

ONION MIX PARATHA / PIYAZ KI KOKI / BASAR JEE KOKI.

HOMEMADE BUTTER ( MAKHAN ) BOONDI RAITA.

SPLIT BENGAL GRAM / CHANNA DAL CUTLET.

Basar ki koki instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients to bind the dough.

  2. Divide the dough into equal 6 balls… Roll the dough in flat bread(thick).

  3. Heat the Tawa and cook the flatbread on sim… Put ghee while cooking…. But be careful while cooking it has to be cooked on slow flame only….

  4. Cook on both sides till golden… Then its ready to serve….

  5. Served best with curd and pickle….
