Ingredients of Raw-Banana Sabji

  1. Prepare 4-5 of Raw bananas.

  2. It’s 1 of Onion.

  3. You need 1/2 teaspoon of Ginger paste.

  4. Prepare 1 of Tomato.

  5. It’s 1/2 teaspoon of Salt.

  6. Prepare 1/4 teaspoon of Red chilli powder.

  7. You need 1/4 teaspoon of Garam masala powder.

  8. You need 1/8 teaspoon of Turmeric.

  9. You need 1/2 teaspoon of Coriander powder.

  10. You need 1 tablespoon of oil l, I used sunflower oil.

  11. You need 1/4 teaspoon of Mustard seeds.

  12. It’s 1/4 teaspoon of Cumin seeds.

Serving: Serve this delicious raw banana stir fried sabzi with chapatti, parantha or rice.

Sabzi prepared with unpeeled bananas taste delicious.

Raw-Banana Sabji step by step

  1. Wash, peel and slice raw bananas. Dont chop fine. I sliced them 1/2 inch thick..

  2. Heat oil in a large kadhai. Add cumin and mustard seeds, once they splutter add chopped onion, ginger garlic paste and saute..

  3. Add chopped tomatoes and let them cook..

  4. Add all the masalas and salt and mix well and cook for a minute or so..

  5. Once cooked add in the sliced bananas.

  6. Cover and cook. Check if the vegetable is soft. Switch off flame..

  7. This vegetable cooks in minutes and is very tasty surprisingly..
