Indian shahi malpua wrap with khoya / mawa instructions

  1. First take a big bowl, mix maida,samolina melon seeds, fennel seeds, cardmom powder..in lukewarm milk dissolve powder sugar and make semi liquid batter with all ingredients By pouring sugar-milk solution slowly slowly ocasionally..make sure no lumps should be formed..give a rest of 15 minutes to set the better.

  2. Cheque the batter consistency, if required then add a little quantity of milk in the batter..batter should be slightly thick than runny.

  3. Heat a flat bottom pan or non stick tawa and pour clarified butter on it.. Pour a ladle ful of batter and shallow fry the malpua till golden brown by flipping both sides.

  4. Shallow fry all the malpuas flipping both the sides.

  5. Stuff one spoon of khoya on the center of malpua and wrap…

  6. Garnish with pistachios and saffron strands.
